People who communicate science or would like to. We are primarily focused on helping the professional science communicator community, but also want to foster trainees and those considering science communications as a career.
This is the premiere event for professional science communicators. We have worked hard to make this conference a valuable experience for everyone who works in the science communication field. Even if you attend virtually, there will be networking opportunities in addition to learning from our peers.
Please contact info@sciencecomm.org with all general conference questions, including questions related to registration.
Should you need to cancel your registration, either use the link on your confirmation email or send an email to info@sciencecomm.org.
If your cancellation request is received by March 31, 2025, you will receive a full refund less a $20 processing fee. No refunds can be made beyond this date. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
Due to other high-profile events in the Raleigh area at the same time as Science Talk ’25, we were unfortunately unable to secure a hotel block for visiting attendees.
However, to make sure you can safely get to the conference from wherever you’re staying, we will be providing Uber vouchers that will help cover your travel to and from the venue each day.
More details on those travel vouchers will be communicated closer to the event. There will also be forums on the Whova app to set up carpools with local attendees, if you want to add some networking commutes to your stay!
