Our members belong to some of the premiere science agencies, academic institutions, news outlets, and communication organizations in the country. We are an inclusive group of passionate individuals who care about science. We have decades of experience in how to reach different audiences and share our stories… why science matters.

We believe that everyone should have access to ASC and do not want income to prevent participation. We therefore base our annual dues on income (honor system; we don’t ask for any financial documents). We respect your privacy as well. We never sell or share our membership list.

Organization Membership
What are Organization Memberships?
With an Organization Membership, your organization publicly supports the ASC’s mission and allows everyone active within your organization to be an ASC member. Dues are tiered to make this opportunity accessible to all science communicators, whether you are a bunch of friends running science trivia at your local watering hole, or an entire university.
What are the benefits?
Much like a sponsorship, your organization’s membership is advertised on our website and at our Science Talk conference. Individuals get all member benefits such as discounted conference and workshop rates and exclusive networking opportunities.
